The Fox Crossmember you've been waiting for...

This unique single tube design adds stiffness and strength far beyond that of the OEM versions while offering versatility like no other. Simply slide the mounting sleeves and reposition the spacers to cover both automatic (AOD) and manual (T-5 & TKO) applications. The crossmember is engineered to work with OEM and aftermarket transmission mounts; all while maintaining your current pinion angle. Low deflection polyurethane bushings are used in the mounts to dampen driveline vibrations and noise. For racing applications the polyurethane bushings can be replaced by solid bushings. If additional vertical adjustment is required, offset bushings can be used to raise or lower the entire mount.

-   Single tube design for maximum stiffness without excess weight.
-      Easily adjust for AOD, T-5 or TKO transmissions.
-      Engineered to maintain pinion angle when using either OEM or aftermarket transmission mounts
-       Supplied with polyurethane bushings or can be replaced with solid mounting bushing for racing applications.
-       Offset bushings can be used to raise or lower the entire brace.
-    Allows more exhaust clearance than OEM style.
-    Direct fit on all 4.5" wide crossmember mounts,  2.75" wide mounts will need relocated.

So far so good!

I recently purchased this crossmember. First let me say the customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. Secondly, the crossmember is very high quality. It's light weight, and the welds are extremely solid. I have yet to install the part due to other Mustang owners wanting to look at it. So far, I've shown it to two people who both plan to buy one for themselves. I will report back with a review of the installation.

I purchased & installed Stiffler's new transmission crossmember for my 93 LX Coupe. I was surprised how light it was. I already knew how strong it was due to the design/construction...but the weight was a surprise. I paired the crossmember with an Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount & I highly recommend anyone who does the crossmember to do the poly transmission mount as well. The combination of the two is a MAJOR upgrade to the way your car feels in regards to going through the gears under power. Installing this crossmember actually led me to discover a misallignment of the engine & how it was sitting in the car. Which I adjusted, thereby removing a side load stress from my transmission. The Stiffler's crossmember is a dead-on precision piece. The stock ford crossmembers are a complete joke, but they serve their design purpose which is to allow misalligned parts to fit together quickly on an assembly line & to be all soft & spongy in the event that Grandma buys a Mustang. After installing this crossmember brace...it's now become a no-brainer. I equate it to replacing the stock clutch quadrant or air filter...it's just something you should do to any Mustang from day one. I was elated to toss the stock crossmember into the scrap bin!
